Founder, Serenity Resource Connector - Registration & Compliance Consultant​

 

Winsome Sherrier Witter, JP, is the Founder of Serenity Resource Connector, a nationally recognized platform helping Jamaicans navigate systems and engage confidently with institutions such as the Companies Office of Jamaica and Tax Administration Jamaica.​

 

With over ten years in the banking sector and a decade in the cable television industry, including nine years as President of the Jamaica Association of Community Cable Operators (JACCO), she brings both corporate insight and hands-on practical experience to her work. ​During those nine years, JACCO placed her in direct engagement with local and international stakeholders, government entities, and officials, giving her a front-row seat to the licensing, regulatory, and compliance challenges facing businesses across Jamaica. That grounding is where her work navigating government systems began.

​

She has served in voluntary local governance and community development roles for more than a decade, and currently serves as President of the May Pen Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

​

Her impact has been nationally recognized with the Governor-General's Achievement Award, one of Jamaica's most prestigious national honours, recognizing individuals who have built outstanding, verifiable service to their communities. She was Clarendon's 2025 honouree in the over-35 category.

How SRC Began

Serenity Resource Connector launched in 2021 as a platform, beginning with the SRC Live Forum series to connect citizens directly with government agencies. The business was registered at the time as Serenity Advisory Consulting Services. By 2023, the Serenity Resource Connector name had earned real trust and reach across Jamaica, so the business was registered to match it.

Digital Storytelling & Live Forums (2021–present)

"Through live forums and curated content, I highlight the everyday work of government agencies and grassroots groups, making their services more accessible and relatable to the public. Each forum is designed to spark awareness, encourage participation, and build trust between citizens and service providers."

Forums ran in ongoing partnership with these agencies through December 2025 and have continued since on a needs basis.
